Your Appointment

There are a number of things to consider when you are planning your appointment at Crows Nest Eye Surgery.

Referrals: Always bring your referral with you, whether it is from your GP, Optometrist or another doctor. This allows you to receive some of the cost of the consultation back from Medicare.

Don’t Drive: Always make arrangements for someone to drive you home from you appointment or catch public transport. Nearly all patients require their eyes to be “Dilated” when they come to see the eye doctor. This means that their eyes a blurry and light sensitive for about 2 hours after the visit. You will not be able to drive in this condition.

Bring a pair of Sunglasses: As your eyes can become light sensitive until the drops wear off, bring a pair of sunglasses to wear.

Dr Chowdhury operates at the Ophthalmic Surgery Centre in Malvern Avenue, Chatswood (Next to the Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre), as well as the Dalcross Adventist Hospital in Killara.

Patients Having LASIK and other Laser Refractive procedures have these performed at the Macquarie Street Laser Center, in Macquarie Street, Sydney.
